                                       CHAPTER-1:1:16 (EARLY FALL)-DAY-16      



     Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up early though Eli got up after Ami was already dressed for the day and it was dawn when she got up.It was also the first day of fall and time to get out and apply for part-time jobs to earn money since the gardening was coming to an end very soon.They both felt that it was fine to have regular jobs with a house already built to shelter them through the winter.

They were both up and ran to the grocery store to get part-time jobs before they came back to Garden House to eat breakfast and to harvest from the garden since work didn't start until the next day.It was only 5AM when the sun started to rise in the morning and they were looking foreward to having a final day of working the old way before having to move on to taking a job and getting regular days off with workdays.

  Ami went to Garden market to work on the garden there while Eli worked on Garden House and got harvesting there to earn money.He ended up eating some soup after taking a break from his work to eat something for lunch.They both ended up eating breakfast out after Ami tried to cook waffles on their stove and started a fire which destroyed the stove and left them without a kitchen until they earned enough to replace it.

    The Jankowskys got the ruined kitchen taken away and decided to just go to Garden House to eat while they saved up to replace the damaged kitchen.They also decided to study cooking to build up the skill before trying to use the stove again so they would be less likely to start another fire.

    Eli was busy working hard getting produce harvested from the garden at Garden House to try to earn as much money as she could before the day was out in hopes of being able to buy a replacement kitchen and build up more cooking skill before they bought the kitchen.

   Ami was working the garden at Garden Market while Eli was at Garden House and he was just as busy trying to get the produce harvested there and earn the money before it got too late and they would have to start work the next day and didn't want to have to delay replacing the kitchen.

    Eli finally got done with her work by 5PM and was already eating dinner after using the washroom so she could go to the grocery store to sell the produce for cash and earn the money to be able to afford the new kitchen once they got enough cooking skill to be able to use a stove safely.

    Eli managed to get her produce sold and make it home while Ami was still busy trying to get a clogged toilet unclogged so he could use the washroom and get dinner eaten.He would sell his produce after he'd eaten dinner and be coming along a bit later to join Eli at home though she had to get the bills paid first.

    It was almost 7:30 in the evening when Ami finally managed to make his way home with the cash from selling his produce and join Eli at home.She paid the bills which were almost 50$ and they were both dressed in their outerwear and getting ready to get inside and get to bed.

    Eli and Ami both got into bed by 7:30 and got to sleep very soon after making it into their sleeping bags.There was a raccoon and a stray cat both sleeping out in front of their house and it was getting very frosty outside that night since it was the first night of the fall season.
